Purple Wallet

The right card,
before you tap.

Say the cards you carry, once. After that your phone shows the best card for whatever shop you walked into — on the Lock Screen, before you reach the counter.

The counter surface

One glance, before you reach the till.

The app has one screen, and it changes shape with how much is actually known. A clear winner looks like a winner. A verified split becomes an order to follow, one card at a time. When the evidence is thin it says so, rather than dressing a guess up as an answer.

The app showing one recommended card for a grocery shop, with the rate and how many people confirmed it.
One card wins
The app showing step one of a two-card split at a fuel station: an amount to put on the first card, with the second waiting underneath.
A verified split, step one
The app saying the shop's category has not been confirmed, showing a dimmed best guess instead of a confident answer.

Split deals

Two cards, one purchase, both bonuses.

The community posts ways to split a single purchase across two or three cards to hit multiple bonus categories at once. Crucially, only for shops where someone has already confirmed it works at a real register — a split that's theoretically valid but fails at the till is worse than no split at all.

Upvotes and downvotes drive a live confidence score. A deal with a hundred confirmations and three failures stays visible. A genuine coin flip is discarded rather than shown with a warning, because a warning still leaves you running an experiment with a queue behind you.

Confirmed
100 / 3

Stays live. Enough evidence, strong agreement.

Contested
50 / 50

Discarded. We'd rather show one card than a coin flip.

Not enough yet
3 / 0

Held back. Three people agreeing isn't evidence yet.

What we don't do

No bank login. Ever.

Every other app in this category asks to connect your bank, or scrapes issuer websites that break the moment a bank redesigns. Purple Wallet does neither. It runs on public card data plus the community feed.

Status

Not released yet.

Purple Wallet is in active development. There's no TestFlight or store listing to sign up for yet — when there is, it'll be here.
